Levels of intimacy vary, too.
The ideal place to be an “open
kimono,” Sayer says, isn’t amongst
your colleagues.
“You don’t trash your co-work-
ers, you don’t trash your boss, you
don’t trash your husband or your
wife. You’re out for a good time,
so it’s not a place for therapy or
deep sharing.”
Or for testing physical bound-
aries. A team hug may be toler-
able. A slap on the rear is cross-
ing the line. “I’d take it down a
notch” in relation to what’s
acceptable between friends,

The Judicial Appointments Advisory Committee advises the Attorney General of
Ontario on the appointment of Judges to the Ontario Court of Justice, and invites
applications for a judicial position in Brantford.
This appointment, while primarily a criminal law position, may also involve presiding
over family law matters and could also involve travel within or beyond the regional
boundaries as assigned by the Regional Senior Justice and/or the Chief Justice.
The minimum requirement to apply to be a Judge in the Ontario Court of Justice is ten
years completed membership as a barrister and solicitor at the Bar of one of the
Provinces or Territories of Canada.
